Melissa Ulewicz is a licensed clinical social worker with more than 18 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults. She has experience working in outpatient, medical, residential, and community settings. She has extensive training in trauma treatment and is a certified clinical trauma professional. She is a registered behavior consultant and has over 12 years of experience working with individuals who have intellectual disabilities creating behavior modification programs. She holds an endorsement in motivational interviewing (MI).
She has extensive training in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and forward-facing trauma therapy (FFTT). She has experience in working with anxiety disorders, depression disorders, perinatal mood disorders, adjustment disorders, grief and loss and couples’ issues. She received her bachelor’s degree in social work from Anderson University and her master’s degree in social work from Indiana University. She is a member of the International Association of Trauma Professionals.
